There will be a Pizza/Social Hour prior to the meeting at 6PM. Folks are asked to bring their own (soft) beverage. There is no charge for the pizza, but we do ask folks to give what they wish to help cover the cost.
In person monthly meetings are held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 W Upper Ferry Rd, Ewing Township, NJ 08628 (Driving Directions). For the convenience of our members, these meetings are also hosted on Zoom. Members will receive an email with instructions on how to join the Zoom teleconference. Members of the public are invited to request conference credentials by sending a message to webmaster@w2zq.com.
Are you planning to have a sked with a buddy who has moved out west or overseas? Are you planning to participate in a contest or a QSO party or hunting for a rare DX? …or just want to get on air and have a few QSOs? These would all be more enjoyable if you could pick the time and the frequency that gives you the best chance of success, or at least a smart starting point.
During our September Club meeting, our own Saied Seghatoleslami, AD2CC, will take you through the basic theory of HF propagation, demystify some of the technical jargon, helps you make sense of the data and take you through a few practical propagation planning scenarios.
Our monthly meetings are open to the public. Feel free to join for all or part of each meeting.
