What do you do with a 7 element beam up 100 ft. on top of a hill, 1000 watts of power and a group of enthusiastic operators? You have a lot of fun and rack up a big score.
…and that we did, we had lots of fun and racked up a big score.
It was a combination phone and CW contest and we made lots of both types of contacts. In this day and age, one might think we would have more phone QSOs than CW ones…but one would be wrong, we had 20% more CW QSOs than phone ones.
Regardless, they are both good and valid QSOs and help us score points and win.
Here’s the N1MM summary table showing QSOs, QSO Points, States and Provinces (S-P) and DXCC entities:
Mode | QSOs | Pts | S-P | DXCCs |
CW | 336 | 1344 | 55 | 53 |
SSB | 282 | 564 | 44 | 59 |
Tot | 618 | 1908 | 99 | 112 |
Claimed Score = 1908 * (99+112) = 402,588
We have the two special events coming up and it is a chance to get on the air and make some contacts. Sign up for the Battle of Trenton (W2T) and Battle of Princeton (W2P) events and have some fun. Click here for More Info or here for the Operator Sign-up Sheet
