An antenna workshop will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 10am at the W2ZQ station. We will discuss the operation and design of a 40 meter “half square” and then we will construct and test the antenna.
The half square is an alternative antenna that that takes up the same horizontal space as a dipole. And, at ¼ λ, will perform better as a DX antenna than a dipole at the same height.
