Feb 14th Monthly Meeting

On Wednesday, February 14th 2018, the Delaware Valley Radio Association monthly meeting will feature a presentation on “Drones” by Stephen DeLuca, KD2OTC. Stephen will focus on the current state of the consumer drone technology describing the different types of drones available, as well as, typical uses for them. A review of drone subsystems will be discussed with a particular emphases placed on remote control and remote viewing technology (FPV).

Jan 10th Monthly Meeting

On Wednesday, January 10th 2018, the Delaware Valley Radio Association monthly meeting will feature a presentation on “Introduction to Ku Band free to air Satellite (FTA)” by Mario Filippi, N2HUN.

Free to Air satellite (FTA) is an esoteric (even to us hams)  system of receiving TV and radio stations from around the globe using a minimum 30 inch (Ku band) diameter dish and is completely legal for anyone to enjoy.

On Wednesday, October 11th 2017, the Delaware Valley Radio Association monthly meeting will feature a presentation on “3D Printing” by Mike Rauch, K2VPX.  Mike will discuss the technology of 3D printing, why he finally bought a printer, and the process of going from the conception of an idea to a physical object.

Dec 14th Monthly Meeting

On Wednesday, December 14th 2016, the Delaware Valley Radio Association monthly meeting will feature a presentation on “Secrets of QSL Cards” by ARRL Eastern Pennsylvania Assistant Section Manager Tom Mills, AF4NC.  Tom will discuss the history of QSL cards, show some unique and unusual ones, and explain how to be successful using them.

May 12th Monthly Meeting

On Wednesday, May 12th 2016, the Delaware Valley Radio Association monthly meeting will feature a presentation on “HF Digital Modes” by Lloyd Price, N2PKC.  Lloyd will cover many of the digital HF modes in use today including BPSK31, RTTY, THROBX, Feld Hell, JT65, Oliva and Contesstia. Lloyd will show how to configure using Multipsk and how to best utilize the modes.
