The DVRA board voted last month to create a separate fund with the intent of purchasing a new HF radio for Station A at W2ZQ. Going forward, all proceeds from the sale of surplus equipment and any donations, designated as such, will go into the “Station A Radio Fund”. With the recent sale of the Collins 30S-1 amplifier and donations from two members the fund has just over $800. The goal is ~$3200. If you wish to help this effort, please designate your donation to the “Station A Radio Fund”. Please note that all donations are tax deductible, as the DVRA is a 501(c)(3) organization.
Donations can be made via the “Donate” button on the www.w2zq.com home page. Checks made out to DVRA can be mailed to DVRA, PO Box 7024, W. Trenton, NJ 08628. Cash can be delivered to the Treasurer by dropping off at the Club Station or at the Monthly meeting. A letter indicating your donation will be provided.
