On Wednesday, June 14th, 2023, the Delaware Valley Radio Association’s monthly membership meeting featured a presentation by Steve Huston, W2SRH titled “DVRA’s WinLink and APRS capabilities”.
In person monthly meetings are held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 W Upper Ferry Rd, Ewing Township, NJ 08628 (Driving Directions). For the convenience of our members, these meetings are also hosted on Zoom. Members will receive an email with instructions on how to join the Zoom teleconference. Members of the public are invited to request conference credentials by sending a message to webmaster@w2zq.com.
Steve is a Unix systems administrator at Princeton University supporting the Computational Science and Engineering Group and the Department of Astrophysical Sciences. He was first licensed in 2004 and has been a longstanding member of the DVRA, as well as the current Director of Repeater Operations.
His interests include HF operating, digital modes and EMCOMM. Amateur radio has become a family activity with his wife Stephanie, KC2NSY; daughter Emily, W2ECH and son David. Steve can be found operating on the HF bands and several local repeaters.
Our monthly meetings are open to the public. Feel free to join for all or part of each meeting.
