Feedline / Connector Workshop – Saturday, January 25th, 10am

This workshop will be held on Saturday, January 25th at 10am at the DVRA station. We will focus on understanding the critical parameters of feedline and how to select the right feedline for specific applications. Feedline selection is just as important as a proper antenna. Considerations include frequency, length, power level, weight and other unique factors.

Properly terminating feedline for use at your station is an invaluable skill for amateur radio builder/operators. Soldering basics will be reviewed and participants will learn how to build coax jumpers and take one home.
