Winter is the time hams work indoors preparing for this year’s outdoor events. With that in mind, the DRVA presents its annual Fox Hunt Introduction, Training, Antenna Workshop and Mini-Fox Hunt (or FHITAWMFH for short…we’re gonna have to work on that one…)
Please join Glen, NK1N, for a morning of fun and fox hunting. The morning starts with the world renown DVRA fox hunting presentation.
Mid-morning brings the antenna workshop and mini-fox hunt. The antenna on which we focus is the fox hunting favorite – tape measure yagi. Instructions for building one ahead of time can be found here: https://www.w2zq.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/2_meter_tape_antenna-2016.pdf
Don’t have time to build one before March 16th? We have a limited supply of tape measure yagi kits that can be built during the workshop ($30). If you would like one of these, please note it in your e-mail.
