On Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 7:00PM, the Delaware Valley Radio Association’s monthly membership meeting will feature a presentation by Tobi Massano AD2CD titled “Parks on the Air [ POTA ] – Learn the Ins and outs of this fascinating HAM activity”.
In her upcoming presentation, Tobi Massano AD2CD will share her wealth of experience as an active Parks on the Air [ POTA ] hunter and activator.
Tobi is an Extra Class licensee as well as a Volunteer Examiner. She’s active with NJECT and ARES/RACES as well as a volunteer at the Scout Merit Badge Day and Girl Scouts Thinking day.
One of Tobi’s many amateur radio accomplishments is that she placed 1st in the New Jersey QSO Party Single Operator Low Power, Middlesex County.
She participates in Special Events W2T – Battle of Trenton, W2P – Battle of Princeton, WOW – War of the Worlds, International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend and National Inventors Day
Tobi been a member of the W2ZQ Operators Club since December of 2021.
There will be a Pizza/Social Hour prior to the meeting at 6PM. Folks are asked to bring their own (soft) beverage.There is no charge for the pizza, but we do ask folks to give what they wish to help cover the cost.
In person monthly meetings are held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 W Upper Ferry Rd, Ewing Township, NJ 08628 (Driving Directions). We encourage you to attend the meetings in-person, but this meeting will also be hosted on Zoom for those who cannot. Members will receive an email with instructions on how to join the Zoom teleconference. Members of the public are invited to request conference credentials by sending a message to webmaster@w2zq.com.
