Greetings all! The W0W, War of the Worlds special event station was a great success! We had great weather, a good turnout of hams, questions from the public, and 270 QSOs. At the end of the day, I was hearing folks say, “We need to do this again next year”.
The special event was certainly popular as we had more than a few hams we worked say that they were looking for us and were glad to have made the QSO. Between Sunday morning before we began operating and this morning, the QRZ page for W0W has received over 900 additional hits. Not bad.
The logging that Mike, K2VPX, put together for us worked flawlessly, thanks Mike!. I’ll be uploading the log file for W0W to LOTW later in the week.
